Handcrafted sarees take days sometimes weeks to create. The pricing reflects the artisan’s skill, time, fair wages, quality fabrics, and the preservation of age-old crafts. When you buy from Desi Aadat, you’re supporting real makers, not mass production.

We use high-quality dyes and natural fibers wherever possible. Since handcrafted textiles behave differently from factory fabrics, we recommend gentle care. Slight colour variations are natural and part of the saree’s character.

For the first wash, we recommend dry cleaning. For later care, gentle hand washing in cold water with mild detergent works best. Always dry in shade and store folded with care.
